This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners to quash the proceedings pending against them in D.V.O.P.No.42 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the proceedings in D.V.O.P.No.42 of 2015 has ended in conviction, as such, the prayer sought for in this criminal original petition has become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above submission and the endorsement so made, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
