O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.254 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ottanchathiram.

2. During the pendency of this petition both the petitioners and the second respondent filed a joint compromise memo. Today, both parties present before this Court along with their respective counsel and represented that they are entered into compromise.

3. In view of the said joint compromise memo and also the fact that the matter is between the family members and they have settled their disputes, this Court is inclined to quash the charge sheet. As per the joint compromise memo the defacto facto complainant has no objection to quash the proceedings. The joint compromise memo shall form part of the order.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the charge sheet in C.C.No.254 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ottanchathiram is hereby quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
