ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 26.02.2010. 2.It is stated that disciplinary proceedings was initiated against the petitioner alleging that he and another employee misappropriated a sum of Rs.11,250/- and other charges and therefore, he was imposed penalty of compulsory retirement and a recovery of Rs.2,94,492 with immediate effect. Aggrieved over the said punishment, the petitioner filed an appeal on 26.02.2010 before the first respondent which is still pending. 3.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 26.02.2010 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
