ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to protect and preserve the Stream comprised in Survey No.1172/1 situated at Veriyappanaickanpatti, Veeralipatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2019, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, a communication dated 18.05.2023, in Na.Ka.No. 2245/2020/Thi2, submitted by the Block Development Officer, Vathalaigundu to the Tahsildar, Nilakottai stating that not only they have removed the encroachments but they have also started the restoration work of odai has been produced before this Court. The photographs have also been attached showing the above.

3. In the light of the fact that the relief claimed has now been granted, no further orders are required to be passed in the above writ petition.

4. This Writ Petition is closed recording the communication of the fifth respondent. No costs.
