This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for quashment in C.C.No.19 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Theni.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that dispute was settled between the parties in the Lok Adalath sitting on 20.09.2019, awarded in L.S.557 of 2019, which was conducted by the District Legal Service Authorities, Theni. Based on the settlement between the parties, the order of acquittal has been passed by the trial Court. It was disposed of as compounded on the same date by the Judicial Magistrate, Theni.
