ORDER:- This Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the earlier order of this court, dated 22.10.2019 and upon perusing the letter in D.No 685, dated 20.07.2021, from the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Rameswaram, this Court made the following order: Today, this case is listed under the caption "Extension of Time for Lower Court".

2.It is evident from the records that this Court vide order dated 22.10.2019, has directed the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram, to dispose of the matter within a period of six (6) months. The learned Judge has submitted a letter dated 20.07.2021, stating that due to lock down the case could not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.4148 of 2019 be disposed of and seeks further six months time for disposal of the said case.

3.Considering the reasons assigned, this Court is inclined to extend the time sought for. Accordingly, six months time is granted to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram is directed to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.69 of 2017, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
