ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry, based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2023.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that during the course of enquiry, it was found that there was a living relationship between the petitioner and the complainant. Even though the complainant was already married, she appeared before the respondent police and gave an undertaking that she will work out the remedy through appropriate proceedings and on that basis, the petition was closed and hence, the matter has become infructuous.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
