O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry on a civil dispute between the 1st and 2nd petitioners' grandmother and grandfather.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that, on the complaint lodged by one Pechiyammal, against the petitioners herein, petition enquiry is pending.

4. The petitioners are directed to participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, they shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent Police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is closed.
