ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue a computer patta in his favour in respect of the property situated in No.110/1B, Nalatinputhur Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Thoothukudi District on the basis of the proceedings of the respondent vide o/o/Mh;/V2/218/2001, dated 02.03.2002.

2. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner is residing in Door No.703E//1, Muthunagar, Pallakku Road, Thittankulam, Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi District and he purchased the above said property from one A.Chinnasamy, S/o.Alagiya Singaperumal by a registered sale deed, vide document No.3400/1996. From the date of purchase, the petitioner has been paying necessary tax to the said property without any fail. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a petition for getting computer patta in his name. In the said petition, the respondent passed an order vide o/o/Mh;/V2/218/2001, dated 02.03.2002, ordering to provide patta in favour of the petitioner. Even thereafter, patta has not been given to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent on 25.04.2015 to provide separate patta. The same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition for the above stated relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the submissions made on either side, without going into the merits of the averments made in the petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated

25.04.2015 and pass appropriate orders with regard to issuance of computer patta in favour of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
