O R D E R
The petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent, the inspector of Police, Kulithalai Police Station to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the temple festival of Sri Maha Mariyamman Thiruvizha, Situated at Velangattupatti Sivayam Village, Krishnarayapuram, Karur District from 30.03.2025 to 01.04.2025, based on petitioners representation, dated 15.03.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, who is the committee member in the administration of the Sri Maha Mariyamman Temple Thiruvizha Committee, along with other villagers decided to conduct the temple festival from 30.03.2025 to 01.04.2025. For that, they approached the second respondent police to grant permission, through his representation, dated 15.03.2025 and the same has not been considered. Hence, he filed this petition. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner for Adal Padal is under consideration and they will consider the same positively and pass appropriate orders.

Mr.D.S.Haroon Rasheed, the learned counsel appearing for proposed party would submit that the petitioner and others discriminated some of the village people from participating in the temple festival and thereby, they lodged a complaint before the respondent police and also the Revenue Authorities. Therefore, he seeks adjournment to file impleading petition.
5. This Court heard both sides and perused the records.
6. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without impleading the private party, is inclined to pass orders. The prayer sought for in this petition is to permit the petitioner to conduct the temple festival by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 15.03.2025. The second respondent police also admitted the receipt of the petitioner's Page No. 3 of 5
representation and the same is under consideration and also assured to consider the same positively. Therefore, recording the abovesaid submissions, this Court directs the second respondent police to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 15.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders by permitting the petitioner to conduct temple festival. However, the second respondent police is also directed to ensure that all the villagers are permitted to worship, without any discrimination. If any deviations, the second respondent police is at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
7. With the above said observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
