Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to appoint the petitioner to the post of Assistant Offset Machine Technician in the existing vacancy within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to appoint the writ petitioner in the post of Assistant Offset Machine Technician in the existing vacancy.

2.Admittedly, the name of the writ petitioner was not sponsored through the District Employment Exchange. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the candidates, who were juniors in employment seniority, were appointed. Thus, the writ petitioner is constrained to move the present Writ Petition. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents states that sponsoring of the candidates was done by the Employment Office with reference to the employment seniority as well as by following the rule of reservation as well as roaster.

reservation. However, the writ petitioner has not established any case by stating that her juniors, who were also in the same community or category, have been over looked. In the absence of specific case with reference to the opportunity granted, general claim of the writ petitioner that seniority has been overlooked, cannot be considered. However, the respondents are bound to follow the seniority in the matter of registration as well as the rule of reservation as per the rules in force.

5.In view of the fact that the writ petitioner has not established whether the rule of seniority or communal rotations are followed, the case of the writ petitioner deserves no merit consideration. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
