The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to quash the proceedings in Crime No.385 of 2015, in respect of him, pending on the file of the respondent Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police has submitted that on 25.01.2016, the respondent Police has filed charge sheet, in Crime No.385 of 2015, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar, and it is yet to be taken on file.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
