O R D E R

************* Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD)No. 4457 of 2022, this Contempt Petition has been filed. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court passed an order in Crl.O.P(MD)No.4457 of 2022, dated 09.03.2022, to register a case, as directed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, in Crl.M.P.No.8627 of 2022. But so far, the respondent police has not complied with the said order. Hence this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint in Crl.M.P.No.8627 of 2021, has been received by the respondent police, for the same, investigation is completed and found that the matter is civil in nature and the same was closed on 20.01.2022. But, it was not brought to the notice of this Court while passing the order made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4457, dated 09.03.2022.

4.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the closure report was not served to the complainant. 5.Recording the same, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the respondent police is directed to furnish the closure report to the complainant. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate action on the closure report.
