O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.) The prayer in the Habeas Corpus Petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the Petitioner's daughter namely Hemalatha, aged about 20 years and hand over her custody to the Petitioner.
2.The detenue is the daughter of the Petitioner. The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed alleging that the detenue is missing from 1/3
9.5.2020 and despite the complaint, no action was taken by the respondents/Police.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would state that the detenue Hemalatha had appeared before the third respondent and gave a statement stating that she is aged 21 years and she married one Kaviprakash on 1.6.2020 and the marriage was performed at Sri Jayavilangi Amman Temple, Arimalam. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the statement of the detenue 4.Mr.K.Sivabalan, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent would state that the fourth respondent is nothing to do with the missing of the Petitioner's daughter. 5.In the light of the above facts, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
