O R D E R
The petitioner has sought for issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to rectify the mistakes in the patta and FMB. The petitioner has made a representation on 11.11.2024.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite passage of several months, no action has been taken on the representation of the petitioner.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner had purchased the property in 2002. Therefore, he would submit that subsequently, survey number has undergone several subdivisions and therefore, 2/5
unless the petitioner applies for correlation and correlations certificate is issued, the necessary follow up rectification of the patta and FMB cannot be carried out.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to make an application for correlation of survey number by making appropriate application to the 3rd respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Once such an application is made by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent shall correlate the survey numbers purchased by the petitioner and thereafter, take necessary steps with regard to any rectification in the patta and FMB that may be warrantd. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of application for correlation being made, by the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
