This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District to expedite and conclude the trial of the case in C.C.No.257 of 2014 expeditiously.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

Taking into consideration the fact that the case in C.C.No.257 of 2014 is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District from 2014 onwards, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.257 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided there are no other legal impediments.
