This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to withdraw the case in C.C.No.71 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukkottai and transfer the same to any Judicial Magistrate Court at Madurai.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the trial of the case has already been commenced and it would be suffice if the learned Magistrate is directed to dispose of the case within a time stipulated by this Court.
3.The learned counsel for the respondent/complainant would also submit that a direction may be issued to the trial Court for early disposal of the case.
4.Considering the above facts and circumstances and also taking note of the limited prayer now sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aruppukkottai is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
