3.V.Nathakumar : Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct respondents 1 and 2 to find out the petitioner's wife, namely, Umadevi W/o.Dhanasekaran, aged about 35 and the petitioner's minor daughter, namely, Atchaya Shri D/o.W/o.Dhanasekaran, aged about 4 within the stipulated time limit as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present petition is filed for a direction to the respondent police to find out the petitioner's wife and daughter within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

2.This case was not listed today, (ie., 03.04.2019). However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, approached this Court to list the matter and hence, by a special list, the case is listed. 3.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that pursuant to the direction given by this Court on the earlier occasion, the Investigating Officer has traced the missing woman and child from Pollachi, where she is working.

5.In this case, the prosecution has converted this Court as if its portfolio is to hear Habeas Corpus Petition, since the lady and the child were produced before this Court. Having produced, this Court interviewed her and the lady appears to be suffering from a very deep rooted mental injury, which she attributes to the conduct of the petitioner. It is however, no part of the statement to be recorded, the Investigating Agency may now proceed as per law. 6.This Criminal Original Petition is closed, as indicated above.
