NO.64, dated 01.02.2018, passed by the second respondent and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] Heard Mr.T.Thirumurugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Chellapandian, learned Additional Advocate General, Assisted by Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

2. This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order of this Court, dated 22.08.2019 passed in H.C.P(MD)No.1388 of 2018.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents would state that the order passed in the Habeas Corpus Petition has been complied with. The Government passed a G.O (Ms) No.91, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 18.02.2021 granting premature release to the convict Kandasamy @ Kabilan. The order is placed for perusal of this Court and the same is taken on file.

4. In the light of the above facts, the contempt petition is dismissed.
