O R D E R

It is the case of the petitioner that his son Surya, is being unnecessarily harassed by the respondent police for no fault of him.

2. The respondent police has filed a counter affidavit wherein they have stated that the petitioner's son Surya is a rowdy element in that area and proceedings under Section 109 Cr.P.C. has been initiated against him. The police have also denied the various allegations made by the petitioner in the affidavit.

3. In view of the fact that 109 Cr.P.C. proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner's son, law should take its own course. However, the police shall not harass the petitioner's son Surya unnecessarily, but if he gets involved in any case, it is open to the respondent police to take action against him in accordance with law. With the above direction, this petition is ordered.
