The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to conduct survey, measurement and fix boundaries of old S.No.344/1 and New No.686 situated in Uppukkottai, Bodi Taluk, Theni District, as per the application of the petitioner dated 10.01.2018 on the basis of sale deed dated 29.09.1942 Doc.No.3539/1942 within a reasonable time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued the second respondent to verify the revenue and other records as to its classification, ownership, possession, enjoyment, rival https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

claims, civil disputes etc., in respect of the property and conduct an enquiry after affording opportunity of personal hearing to all the parties interested for the purpose of survey of the land and pass orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
