[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's wife namely Priyadharsini, aged about 22 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.Heard Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Neelakandan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 3.It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner as well as the detenue appeared before the respondent police and gave statements and as per the statement of the detenue, she is residing with her parents happily and she is not interested to join with the petitioner. H.C.P.(MD) No.543 of 2020 detenue, the petitioner and the father of the detenue, are produced before this Court for perusal.

4.In the light of the above statement of the detenue, no further enquiry is required in this case and accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
