Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members to enjoy their property situated in S.No.529/4 in Neendakarai B.Village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members to enjoy their property situated in S.No.529/4 in Neendakarai B.Village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Cr.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. In respect of the possession of the property, it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that title is not in dispute. Be that as it may, in view of the dispute between the parties, this Court is of the view that police protection cannot be granted.

4. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
