ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(2) and 353 of IPC r/w Section 4 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.161 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.In this case the State Transport Bus has been set fire following the arrest of one Rocket Raja. The prime accused was arrested. On his confession the petitioner herein has also been implicated. This Court went through the contents of the confession statement. It is seen therefrom, the petitioner did not play any major role. The decision to damage the public property had already been taken.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the state opposes to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner by stating the bad antecedents of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 5.Taking into account of these circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain

conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Tirunelveli and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police for a period of two weeks daily at 10.00 a.m. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 5.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
