O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed to call the records relating to the impugned certificate of registration of marriage bearing Sl.No.152/2014, dated 22.08.2014 on the file of Registrar of Marriage/Sub Registrar, Nagalnaickenpatti, Dindigul-3, quash the same and consequently, direct the 1st respondent to remove the entries relating to registration of marriage in the name of the petitioner and the 2nd respondent from the file of the 1st respondent.

the 2nd respondent appeared in person with their respective counsel. The learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the 2nd respondent has no objection to cancel the marriage certificate registered under Section 7-A of the Hindu Marriage Act. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, a Joint Memorandum of Compromise is filed to that effect.

3.In view of the submission made on either side and the joint memorandum of compromise, dated 20.07.2017 filed by the parties, the writ petition is allowed. The joint compromise memo shall form part of the record. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
