ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No. 799 of 2020, on the file of the first respondent as against the petitioner.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent had falsely implicated the petitioner in Crime No.799 of 2020, alleging that he roamed on the road in violation of lock down restrictions. Further, he stated that at the time of arrest, the petitioner was not affected by COVID-19 Virus and particularly, there is no village person affected by the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that action has been dropped in Crime No.799 of 2020, as per the instructions received from the Director General of Police, Chennai, in R.C.No.1029669/Crime 41(1)2021, dated 05.04.2022 and the Chief Secretary Office order in G.O.(MS) No.176. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
