O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH,J.] At the instance of the learned Standing Counsel for the State Government, this habeas corpus petition is taken up today for hearing.
2. The petitioner is the mother of the detenue, named, Renuka. It is stated that the detenue is aged about 17 years and 06 months.
3. The learned Standing Counsel submitted that the detenue has been secured and she is also present at the time when matter is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing. On enquiry, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P(MD)No.691 of 2021 detenue stated that she wants to go along with her mother. The learned Standing Counsel further submitted that an F.I.R. has been registered in Crime No.147 of 2021, on the file of the third respondent and the investigation is pending.
4. In view of the above development, the third respondent is directed to immediately handover the detenue to the petitioner and it is also further directed that the third respondent will proceed further with the investigation in the pending F.I.R., in accordance with law.
5. Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of.
