ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioners challenging the proceedings pending against them in Crime No. 1 of 2016, on the file of the first respondent police, based on the complaint of the second respondent/defacto complainant, for the offences punishable under Section 498(A), 406 and 506(i) of the I.P.C.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions from Ms.S.Kalpana, W.Grade-I-1225, Melur All Women Police Station, Madurai who is also present before this Court, would submit that the case in Crime No.1 of 2016, on the file of the All Women Police Station has been closed as 'Further Action Dropped' and he has also produced a copy of the case diary for the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court is of the view that nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and the same is accordingly, closed.
