Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner challenges the order dated 28.02.2024 passed by the second respondent levying penalty on the petitioner. The petitioner has raised quite a few grounds in support of his challenge to the impugned order. The order is appealable before the first respondent. 3.The petitioner is permitted to file an appeal. If such an appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, it shall be entertained without reference to limitation. The petitioner is permitted to file an Interlocutory Application seeking interim relief. If such an Interlocutory Application is filed, it shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law by the first respondent within a period of two weeks thereafter. The impugned order is put on hold for a period of six weeks from today (03.04.2024). I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. If the petitioner fails to file appeal 2/4

within six weeks, the benefit of this order will stand automatically vacated.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
