ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to make necessary arrangements for providing approach road / pathway to the petitioner's land in Survey No.482/2 of Rajakamangalam Part-II Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District, connecting with the existing approach road / cart track in Survey No.443, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the aforementioned property. According to him, due to the land acquisition of his neighbouring lands, access to the aforementioned property has been blocked. In such circumstances, he has given 1/3
representations, dated 28.01.2012 and 26.12.2020 to the respondents. The petitioner has also filed recommendation letters sent by the first respondent as well as the second respondent, dated 10.10.2014 and 31.01.2020, respectively for making arrangements for providing an access to the petitioner's property. Since the representations have not been considered till date, he has filed this writ petition. 3.Heard Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. 4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representations as stated supra are considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. The first and second respondents have already issued recommendation letters as seen from the documents filed along with the typed set of papers.
5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 28.01.2012 and 26.12.2020, seeking for providing approach road / pathway to the petitioner's land situated in Survey No.482/2 of Rajakamangalam Part-II Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District, connecting with the existing approach road / cart track in Survey No.443, based on the recommendation letters sent by the first and second respondents, dated 10.10.2014 and 31.01.2020, respectively and pass final orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary parties, including granting them the right of personal hearing. 6.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
