O R D E R

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members for their life and limb considering the representation of the petitioner dated 20.02.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that on the complaint given by the petitioner, the case in Crime No. 39 of 2016 has been registered for offences under Sections 294(b), 354 and 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act on 09.02.2016 against one Thangamani, who is the third respondent herein.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite FIR has been registered, the respondents 3 to 5 are continuously harassing the petitioner.

5. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and ensure that she is not harassed by anyone.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
