This petition is filed seeking a direction to the (*)First respondent to file the final report in Crime No.136 of 2018 on the file of the(*)(*)Second respondent police within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the 2nd respondent requires six weeks time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.136 of 2018.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.136 of 2018, before the Court concerned within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
