O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents survey the petitioner's property situated at Karambakudi Revenue Village, Pudukkottai District in survey Nos.556/6A, 555/26A2 and 613/781 considering the petitioner's online representation dated 12.04.2025.
2. The petitioner is claiming right over the property in survey Nos.556/6A and 555/26A2, 12682 and 613/781 as an ancestral property. The petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property, however, there is a rival claim by the 4th respondent.

Mr.S.Siva Thilakar, learned Counsel for the Government of Tamil Nadu, on instructions, submitted that based on the petitioner's application, the respondents 1 to 3 attempted to survey the property, but there was a severe obstruction by the 4th respondent, law and order problem was created and hence, the survey was stopped in between. The said statement is recorded.

Therefore, the third respondent/Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's online representation dated 12.04.2025 and survey the property with the assistance of the Surveyors, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 4th respondent, in accordance with law. In case the third respondent/Tahsildar seeks police protection for carrying out the survey, the jurisdictional police shall provide the necessary police protection. In case, if the 4th respondent is in possession of the property, the petitioner shall not to evict the 4th respondent without following due process of law. The petitioner shall not indulge any law and order problem. The respondents 1 to 3 shall adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures:
• The respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey.
• After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction. • If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. Page No. 3 of 6
The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest.
The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
