O R D E R

The prayer in the writ petition is for a Mandamus directing the respondents 3 to 5 to submit a report to the second respondent as per the proceedings dated 23.10.2025.

2. The petitioner had made a representation with reference to the conduct of the grant of permission to include the Pudukottai bus stand also in his route. With reference to that the second respondent passed an order on 23.10.2025 requiring the respondents 3 to 5 to submit a report by conducting a survey of the said route. The same has not been done till date and therefore, the petitioner is before this court. 2/5

3. When the matter came up for admission, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1, 2 and 4 would submit that the said exercise will be completed if ample time is given and a report will be submitted.

4. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:

(a) The respondents 3 to 5 shall complete the conduct of the survey and submit a report as required by the second respondent as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order. (b)Upon submission of the records, the second respondent shall further consider the application of the petitioner and pass orders thereon within a period of four (4) weeks from then; and (c) No costs.
