Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b) (ii)(B) and 8(c) of NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No.158 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent. 3.The petitioner is a lady. It is seen that the quantity of ganja is only small quantity being 1-1/2 kg. It was recovered only from the first accused. The petitioner has been implicated only on the confession made by the first accused. Further, it is seen that the petitioner is not having any previous case. 4.Taking note of all these aspects, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on her appearance before the learned District and Sessions Judge for Special Court under E.C. and NDPS Act Cases, Thanjavur and on her executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned District and Sessions Judge concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

5.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned District and Sessions Judge within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
