the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act 1983 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner has sought for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to conduct survey, subdivide and issue patta to the petitioner's lands in survey No.250/6B2.

3. I have heard Mr.J.R.Annie Abinaya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. I have also gone through the records.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that there is a Nilaviyal Pathai which is running inside the property of the petitioner 2/5

and the petitioner has no objection for the said pathai to continue to exist and the petitioner only seeks for survey, subdivision and Patta in respect of the available lands.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the survery number is concerned comprises of 94 cents out of which, 50 cents have already been purchased by the petitioner and that in the said survey numbers, there is also a Nilaviyal Pathai. Therefore, there can be no difficulty for the authorities to conduct survey, subdivide the subject lands and issue patta to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be carried out by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
