ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2020 to rectify the mistake occurred in the master ledger of the 2nd respondent as S.No.48/5 instead of S.No.48/6 under the Tamil Nadu Registration Act.

2.According to the petitioner, he submitted a representation dated 30.05.2020 to the 1st respondent with the relief sought for in the prayer. But, so far, no action has been taken by the 1st respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra. 3.In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that if the petitioner produces all the relevant documents to rectify the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.8054 of 2020 aforesaid mistake as required by the 1st respondent, his representation dated 30.05.2020, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4.In agreeing with the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, is inclined to pass the following directions:- i) the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; ii) the petitioner is directed to produce all the relevant documents to seek his remedy before the 1st respondent and to enclose a copy of this order along with such representation; 5.With the above terms, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
