This petition has been filed seeking order to transfer the investigation from the respondent police in Crime NO.73 of 2019 pending before the Inspector of Police, West Police Station, Kumbakonam to some other effective investigating Officer. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter was investigated and the woman who was stated to be missing was secured and joined with the complainant, who is the husband. So further action in this case has been dropped on 23.05.2019. The prayer sought for in this petition becoem infructuous. 3.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
