ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Civil Revision Petition, to direct the District and Sessions court, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil to conduct the trial in I.D.O.P No.213 of 2016 expeditiously and conclude the same, within the stipulated period of time.

2. The revision petitioner, who is the husband filed IDOP.No.213 of 2016, on the file of the District and Sessions court, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil, for divorce. The respondent entered appearance and filed counter in the said IDOP in the year 2016 and thereafter, the said IDOP is being adjourned without any progress. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come out with the present revision.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4. Taking into considerationthe material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the learned District and Sessions Judge, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed and the learned District and Sessions Judge, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil, is directed to dispose of I.D.O.P No.213 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 30th October 2017.
