ORDER

The petitioners have filed this Civil Revision Petition, to direct the Learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukottai to expedite and complete the proceedings in O.S.No.140 of 2012 and dispose of the same, within the stipulated period of time.

2. The revision petitioners, who are the plaintiffs, filed suit in O.S.No.140 of 2012, on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukottai, for partition.

3. The respondents filed written statement filed in the year 2012 and the learned Judge framed issues on 12.02.2013 and thereafter, the matter was posted for trial on 12.06.2013, and from that date onwards, the suit is being adjourned, without any progress. In the circumstances, the petitioners have come out with the present revision.

4. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

5. Taking into consideration the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the Learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukottai. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed and the the Learned Subordinate Judge, Pudukottai, is directed to dispose of O.S.No.140 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 31st July 2017. No costs.
