ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to cause further investigation in Crime No. 83 of 2018 which is on the file of the second respondent either through the second respondent or through any other officer and complete the investigation and file the additional report before the concerned Magistrate Court as expeditiously as possible.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for respondents submitted that the second respondent has completed investigation and filed final report as against the three accused persons and the same has been taken cognizance in STC No.1260 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai.

3. In view of the aforesaid statement, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

liberty to invoke under Section 319 of Cr.P.C. before the trial Court during the trial the Criminal Original Petition is closed.

4. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
