..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents not to permit anybody to excavate sand on the petitioner's cultivating land in Survey No.77, to the extent of 2.50 acres situated at Kuruvikarambai Village, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District and further direction to the respondents not to interfere in the petitioner's peaceful enjoyment of the above land. Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner wants this Court to restrain the respondents from granting permission to anybody from excavating sand in the petition mentioned land.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that no such permission has been granted.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petition is disposed of. If, in future, any such permission is granted, it is open to the petitioner to move this Court for appropriate relief. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
