ORDER
This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering his representation dated 26.03.2024.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner received life threat from the fourth respondent and thereby, he sent a representation for police protection on 26.03.2024 and the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and they will consider and dispose of the same within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the fourth respondent, is inclined to pass order in this petition.

5. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation for police protection and the same has not been considered. According to the third respondent, the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and they will conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders within a week. Recording the submission of the third respondent, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.03.2024 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a week from the date of date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
