O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to settle the petitioner's retirement benefits including gratuity, the commuted value of pension, settlement pension arrears and all other attendant benefits with interest at the rate of 18% per annum within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that during the pendency of this writ petition, the respondents settled a sum of Rs.8,59,205.20/- on 06.08.2021 and a further sum of Rs.4,17,423/- on 27.12.2021. The petitioner has also acknowledged the same and signed in the document.

3. Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. Even if the petitioner is aggrieved, liberty is hereby granted to him to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No Costs.
