ORDER
This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to modify condition No.7(b) imposed on the petitioner by this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.2468 of 2026, dated 09.02.2026, whereby the petitioner was directed to deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) to the credit of Crime No.71 of 2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No. I, Madurai.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is unable to arrange the sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) and comply with the order of this Court dated 09.02.2026. Hence, he seeks modification of the said condition. 2/5
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit, condition No.7(b) imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.2468 of 2026, dated 09.02.2026, is modified, and the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) to the credit of Crime No.71 of 2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, without prejudice to the petitioner's contentions and rights before the trial Court. Upon such deposit being made, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall accept the sureties furnished by the petitioner. Since the petitioner has filed the present petition for modification, the time granted by this Court is extended by a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. All other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain unaltered.
