(Crime No.14/2013) : Respondent Prayer: This Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to expedite the disposal of the case pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Tuticorin, in C.C.No.160/2019 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER: This Petition coming up for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 24.04.2019 and the requisition letter of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thoothukudi, vide letter in D.No.A1/1760/2020, dated 03.09.2020 with the requisition letter of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Thoothukudi, vide letter in D.No.344/2020, dated 31.08.2020 and this Court made the following order:- By order dated 24.04.2019, this Court directed the Court below to dispose of C.C.No.160/2019 within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

2.The Court below has submitted a letter in D.No.A1/1760/2020 dated 03.09.2020 wherein, the learned Judge citing Covid-19 lockdown has requested for extension of 6 months to comply with the above order.

3.There is no objection on the side of the petitioner in extending the time limit.
