Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give adequate compensation for a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to Petitioner for denial of treatment, physical and mental agony caused as a result of the denial of pregnancy treatment by playing scam on Petitioner report issued by the 5th respondent hospital.
ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.BENAZIR BEGUM.M, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.P.NARAYANAKUMAR, Special Government Pleader on behalf of the Respondents 1 to 4, the Court made the following order:- The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner was tested for COVID virus and she tested negative and therefore, the petitioner has been permitted to stay in the labour ward and thereafter she will be shifted to the general ward.
2. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this petition is closed.
