The petitioner herein, who has applied for the post of Assistant Professors in Government Arts an Science Colleges, was not found eligible, as the petitioner secured marks below the cut off mark and hence, he approached this Court.

2.In the counter, the second respondent has submitted that the petitioner has scored below the cut off mark and therefore, his candidature was not considered. However, it is brought to the notice of this Court in W.P(MD)No.264 of 2015 as per the direction of this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Court interim order was passed to keep one post vacant under the SC (G) category and due to the dismissal of W.P(MD) No.264 of 2015 vide order dated 09.01.2015, the said post is vacant and the next meritorious person will be accommodated in that post. 3.Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction that the vacant post shall be filled up by the next meritorious candidate found in the waiting list and if the petitioner is the next meritorious candidate, he shall be accommodated in that vacant post. The said process shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
