****** This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 11.02.2016.

2. When the case was taken up for hearing, On instructions from the respondent police, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that for the same set of facts, on the complaint lodged by one Mr.Shankar Subramaniam, the Economic Offence Wing have registered a case in Crime No.1 of 2016 on 06.01.2016 for offences under Sections 406, 420, 120(b) IPC and Section 5 of the TANPID Act, 1977 and this petitioner is being taken as a witness in Crime No.1 of 2016 and statement will also be recorded by the police as one of the victims.
