This writ petition has been filed to direct the second Respondent to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct Aadal Padal Programme on 20.06.2018 during the night time from 07.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., on the eve of "Sri Ragampari Muthu Mariamman Temple" situated in Ariyavur Village, Trichy District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2018 within the time limit.

3.It seen from the records that the programme is scheduled to be held on 20.06.2018 (today) itself, therefore, this Court cannot give any direction as sought for in the petition. It is open to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the respondents herein and on receipt of such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the order passed in W.P.(MD). No.7911 of 2018 on 02.04.2018.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
